I really encourage you to check them out - you know that I never endorse a product that I do not use! What a weekend. Ledger was hacked and the information was dispersed across the internet. Hackers now have the phone numbers, email address, physical addresses and names of roughly a million people who purchased Ledger wallets. Scary, although your funds are technically perfectly safe. I wrote more about this in the news section below, but it's a reminder that security is everything, and you should go above and beyond what you think is necessary to protect yourself. As you all know, I use EFANI phone service, which is currently available in the United States and parts of Canada. My friend Haseeb personally protects your phone and SIM with his team, while you benefit from Verizon service (or any other carrier). I spoke with him yesterday and he had already received about 20 calls in a day about SIM Swaps on other services, directly as a result of the Ledger hack. If they have your info and your phone number, it's very easy for them to convince your phone company that they are you and to port your SIM. Here is the podcast that I did with Haseeb many months ago.https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/haseeb-awan-ceo-efani-inventor-bitcoin-atm-on-sim-hacking/id1500066831?i=1000472897991I use hardware wallets for some ERC-20 tokens, but my Bitcoin is secured in multisig by Jameson Lopp and CASA. I have a 3/5 vault. That means that a hacker or thief would need to access 3 out of 5 hardware devices that I own to send anything from my wallet. They are geographically dispersed and secured, so it is almost impossible for me to send Bitcoin myself. I go to these extraordinary lengths because I know that I am a target. Here is the podcast that I did with Jameson.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ryp0usavkdcWhat else happened this weekend? Elon Musk relentlessly tweeted about Bitcoin (and mooned DOGE once more), drawing the attention of Michael Saylor. It was a hell of a conversation, also discussed below in the news. Finally, I shorted Bitcoin successfully, drawing out every emotional hater and troll on Twitter. It is important to remember that you need to be stone cold and robotic with no bias as a trader. I am EXTREMELY bullish on Bitcoin, but that does not mean I won't short a clear setup that follows my plan. As an investor, very bullish. As a trader, I saw a short term opportunity to make money, which I did and have closed. I will discuss this further below. In This Issue:Bitcoin Thoughts And AnalysisAltcoin ChartsLegacy Markets$DUCK - Duck Liquidity PoolLedger Breach And Everything You Need To KnowElon Musk Is Flirting With Bitcoin (Again)1 XRP = 1.0073 SparkMy Recommended Platforms And Tools
