You can find out more by clicking here!A rumor is brewing in the crypto community regarding Apple, their imminent acceptance of crypto and a potential $1.5B Bitcoin purchase. Here we go again. If true, it should all be announced by Thursday at the Bitcoin conference in Miami. I will be sitting on the official news desk for the previous speech, front and center. Here's the story.Last week, Jack Mallers, the CEO and founder of Strike, posted a cryptic tweet including 4 images that could contain clues to an announcement at the Bitcoin Conference. Mallers stole the show last year when he shocked the world with the El Salvador news. Below are the contents of his Tweets that sparked the recent speculation. You can see them HERE.Image one - Strike app making a real payment.Image two - Strike’s mission statement.Image three - Jack Mallers wearing an Apple hat and giving the middle finger to a Chase Bank ATM.Image four - A Bitcoin Miami advertisement, implying that Jack will make a surprise announcement during his keynote address on the main stage this Thursday.Since that post, Jack has made two more Apple references on his Twitter account. Both were iconic parts of Apple's history - a Steve Jobs speech and an Apple commercial. Before I go any further, I want to clarify that I’m not a big fan of conspiracy theories or rumors, as they usually turn out to be false. That said, there is a decent chance that something is in the works and the very fact that this is being so widely discussed is worth writing about. It's obviously likely that all of this is sheer coincidence, but that hasn't stopped the speculators from making a reasonable case. Also, considering how seriously Jack takes his role in Bitcoin adoption, why would he want to stir up ideas that lead to nothing? Here's what we know regarding the extent of Apple's involvement in crypto.Tim Cook owns cryptocurrency and thinks, "it's reasonable to own it as part of a diversified portfolio."Apple is actively working on digital wallets. The feature already exists in Arizona.Apple Pay VP Jennifer Bailey said, "we are watching cryptocurrency, we think it's interesting."Apple already owns a wallet app, so they have all of the right tools in place to make a move if and when they are ready. The writing has been on the wall for major companies, ever since MicroStrategy, Tesla and Square et al. added Bitcoin to their treasuries. This is a logical step for many companies as Bitcoin reaches the mainstream. That said, we may still be very early and it could take years to come to fruition.Good thing we have plenty of time.*As for the rumor of Apple buying $1.5B in Bitcoin, I can't find any compelling evidence*In This Issue:Will Apple Accept Bitcoin?Bitcoin Thoughts And AnalysisAltcoin ChartsElon Musk Buys 9% Of TwitterGary Gensler Wants More ControlUS Legislators Attempt Bitcoin Bill, Can't Even Fix USThe Wolf Of All Streets Podcast Ft.
