I really encourage you to check them out.Great investors can learn important lessons from chess masters.Understanding an asset is half of the battle. This is akin to a chess player who understands the rules, but is only competent enough to consider the next move. A chess master strategizes many moves ahead, often seeing almost the entire game play out in their head 8 moves before it happens. The next move is far less important than future developments.I am neither a master investor or a master chess player, but in an attempt to emulate their foresight, I compiled a list of 8 future events that may impact our investing.Let’s play our game 8 moves ahead.Governments Buying BitcoinEl Salvador is the only country in the world to publicly buy Bitcoin as an investment. Other countries, including the U.S., have auctioned Bitcoin after seizing it from criminals, but we have yet to see the massive wave of government adoption. We already know that governments invest in gold, which is why it is my belief that over time they will realize that digital gold is superior. We live in a digital world.Companies Buying BitcoinMore companies will likely buy Bitcoin in the near future. We have already seen some major corporations support the asset and adopt it as a part of their core investment strategy, but we have only scratched the surface. It’s my belief that we will continue to see major companies adding Bitcoin to their balance sheet over the years as an inflation hedge. This will continue to be a major driver of adoption.More Crypto Companies Going PublicA majority of the companies in the crypto world are private. It’s inevitable that we see more of them follow in the footsteps of Coinbase, going public and offering an opportunity for non crypto investors to gain secondary exposure to the asset class. Whether you agree or not, many investors only view a company as legitimate once they are publicly listed. More access and ways to invest in the asset class = more mainstream investors.More Mergers And AcquisitionsCrypto innovation is largely siloed in distinct communities that rarely interact. There are few one-stop shops where an investors can buy crypto, collect interest, store the asset, take a loan, stake, delegate and trade. The strongest companies will acquire each other or merge to create a more seamless user experience that benefits end-users, builders, developers, and investors. This is what mainstream adoption will look like and when we start to see more mergers and acquisitions, we will know we are getting closer. The FlippeningI am not here to convince you that Ethereum will or will not flip Bitcoin by market cap. If it does happen, Ethereum would be the first asset to ever dethrone Bitcoin. It is certainly possible considering the increasing development and interested in Ethereum. This would be insanely bullish for ETH, so it is worth watching.Ethereum 2.0Ethereum 2.0 is an upgrade that will drastically improve the network, likely to happen sometime next year during Q1 or Q2. The transition from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake will add speed, scalability, security, and decentralization. Every major coin that has successfully undergone an upgrade has seen serious price appreciation in advance. We have seen it happen with Cardano, Solana, Elrond, and even with Ethereum’s minor upgrades. If you think Etheruem 2.0 is already priced in, you are not thinking far enough ahead.A Bitcoin Spot ETFA Bitcoin Futures ETF was approved - a step in the right direction, but an inferior product to a spot based ETF. The SEC seems increasingly reluctant to seriously consider a spot based product, which many believe is unlikely to be approved under the current regime. It will happen eventually, and will be a major driver of price and interest. This would be a HUGE development. The Next Bull MarketThe bear market will come. It is inevitable and part of the natural cycle of every market. When Bitcoin eventually corrects and everyone thinks it's dead, will you be the brave investor willing to buy the fear once again? If history repeats, the next bull market will be even bigger than this one, as interest and awareness increases.Invest like a master chess player, always 8 moves ahead.Chart Request Live Stream at 1:30 PM EST.
