I really encourage you to check them out.The China news came in as I was finishing the newsletter, but I will still focus on the positive rather than the negative! The gist is that China has once again "banned crypto," although reports are coming in that it is, once again, old news being reported late by the media and causing a market reaction. I wrote about it later in the newsletter. Now on to better things...The original Bitcoin mission has always been the pursuit of a monetary system that operates anytime, anywhere, instantly, and at low cost.It is yet to accomplish this mission. That hasn’t stopped innovators from working to advance the cause, which we all know can take decades.Today we are one step closer to realizing that vision.Twitter is integrating Bitcoin tips and payments, a feature that Jack Dorsey has been hinting at for months.IOS users can now enable a simple setting on their Twitter account to accept Bitcoin tips and send them instantly using the Lightning Network via the Strike API. As simple as the concept is, the benefits will be astounding. There are many crypto content creators that produce amazing work without the luxury of monetizing their efforts. Now, more than ever, there will be an accessible financial incentive to create and contribute. This one singular payment standard and this one singular open global monetary network is dematerializing all existing monetary networks. Western Union, pawn to E4, your move.”There are a few interesting things worth pointing out about the announcement. Perhaps the most underrated aspect of the integration is that Bitcoin is denominated in Satoshis, a user-friendly move I believe is conducive to global adoption. As Bitcoin becomes more valuable, Satoshis are an intuitive way to understand the money you are interacting with rather than endless decimals. The second is that the Bitcoin sent is received in fiat. For now, if you want to receive Bitcoin, you will have to manually convert the fiat you receive. I imagine this will eventually change. The final detail is that the functionality is only available for IOS users, with the intention of adding further operating systems.Details and quirks aside, this is a HUGE step for Bitcoin, open monetary systems, and the little guy. We are winning. This isn't really about tipping or about Twitter adding a new payments functionality. It’s about the world adopting Bitcoin. For the full blog announcing the integration, click HERE.IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUE WITH THE NEWSLETTER OR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, PLEASE CONTACT: PREMIUMSUPPORT@GETREVUE.COIn This Issue:Twitter Is Advancing The Bitcoin MissionBitcoin Thoughts And AnalysisEthereum Is Leading In Futures InterestTime Magazine Launched NFTsTwitter Stock Rises On Bitcoin NewsBitcoin Price Drops On Renewed China FUDMy Recommended Platforms And Tools
