For those of you who watch the show "Billions," you are familiar with the character Wendy Rhoades, a high powered performance coach to Bobby Axelrod and the traders and employees of his hedge fund. What few know is that her character is based on Denise Shull, the guest on the most recent show. Denise has helped countless billionaires, traders, celebrities and athletes overcome psychological obstacles to enhance their performance. When a baseball player is in a batting slump, he comes to Denise to fix it. When a trader is losing money, he comes to Denise to fix the problem.Denise and I dove deep into the psychology and emotion of trading. As traders of any level, there's endless knowledge on how to approach life as a trader and how to manage individual trades and strategies. A lot of what she said did not jive with my own experience, which I found interesting. She does not believe that you can eliminate emotion from your trading, but rather that you can understand and use it to your advantage. We also discussed how to approach a 24/7 market, which is effectively impossible, and the importance of unplugging and having a life outside of trading.Regardless, I cannot stress enough how much knowledge she shared. For those of you who struggle with trading, this is a must listen. In This Issue:Trading PsychologyBitcoin Thoughts And AnalysisAltcoin ChartsLegacy MarketsWhat Is The Fear And Greed Index?Institutional Interest In EthereumThe SEC Has Postponed Crypto RegulationMicroStrategy Is A Bitcoin Acquisition CompanyThe Wolf Of All Streets Podcast Ft.
